General Fitness Trainer
Duties and Responsibilities:
Personal Training:

Conduct one-on-one training sessions with members, assessing their fitness levels, goals, and limitations.

Design personalized workout plans that align with members' goals and fitness levels.

Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and provide guidance and motivation during training sessions.

Monitor and track member progress, adjusting training programs as needed to ensure continued improvement.
Group Fitness Classes:

Lead and instruct group fitness classes, providing a safe and engaging environment for participants.

Develop class formats and choreography, ensuring variety and progression in workouts.

Modify exercises and provide alternatives to accommodate different fitness levels and abilities.
Fitness Assessments:

Conduct fitness assessments for members to evaluate their current fitness levels and establish baseline measurements.

Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations and goal-setting strategies based on individual member needs.

Regularly reassess members to track progress and adjust training programs accordingly.
Customer Service:

Build rapport with members, understand their fitness goals, and provide ongoing support and motivation.

Educate members on proper exercise techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols.

Address member inquiries, and concerns, and provide assistance as needed.

Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members, ensuring a positive training experience.
Equipment and Facility Maintenance:

Ensure fitness equipment is properly maintained, clean, and in safe working condition.

Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly to the appropriate personnel.

Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the fitness facility.

High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field (preferred).

Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification from a reputable fitness organization.

Proven experience as a fitness trainer or instructor, with a track record of providing effective and safe training services.

Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, anatomy, and training principles.

CPR/AED and First Aid certification.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with members.

Ability to adapt training programs to accommodate different fitness levels and goals.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.
