Job Description :
We are seeking motivated and reliable Conference Event Staff members to assist in the planning and execution of our upcoming conference. As part of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of the event by providing exceptional service to attendees and ensuring that all logistics run smoothly. This position will require excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. This event will take place on June 17th - June 21st.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including conference rooms, exhibit halls, and outdoor areas
- Provide exceptional customer service to attendees, including answering questions, directing traffic, and resolving any issues that arise
- Monitor event spaces to ensure that they remain clean and organized throughout the event
- Assist in the coordination of vendor and sponsor activities and general support
- Manage registration and ticketing processes, including ticket scanning, check-in, and on-site registration
- Assist with any other tasks related to the successful execution of the event, as assigned by the Event Manager
Required Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree preferred
- Prior experience in event planning or customer service preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- Proficiency with basic computer software, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
