Lead Fitness Trainer
Duties and Responsibilities:
Team Management :

Recruit, hire, train, and supervise a team of fitness trainers.

Provide ongoing guidance, feedback, and coaching to trainers to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality training services.

Create and maintain trainer schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for group classes and personal training sessions.
Training Program Development:

Develop comprehensive fitness training programs tailored to meet the diverse needs and goals of members.

Stay updated on industry trends, research new training techniques, and incorporate innovative methods into training programs.

Collaborate with other fitness professionals to develop specialized programs for specific populations or fitness goals.
Personalized Training Sessions:

Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions with members, assessing their fitness levels, setting goals, and designing customized workout plans.

Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and provide guidance and motivation to maximize member performance and safety.

Monitor and track member progress, adjusting training programs as needed to ensure continued improvement.
Group Fitness Classes:

Lead and instruct group fitness classes, providing a safe and engaging environment for participants.

Develop class formats and choreography, ensuring variety and progression in workouts.

Modify exercises and provide alternatives to accommodate different fitness levels and abilities.
Customer Service:

Provide exceptional customer service by building rapport with members, understanding their fitness goals, and providing ongoing support and motivation.

Address member inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively.

Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members, ensuring a positive training experience.
Safety and Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures during training sessions and while using fitness equipment.

Conduct regular inspections of equipment, report any issues, and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.

Educate trainers and members on proper equipment use and safety protocols.

Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field (preferred).

Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification from a reputable fitness organization.

Proven experience as a personal trainer or fitness instructor, with a track record of achieving positive results.

Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, anatomy, and training principles.

CPR/AED and First Aid certification.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with members and lead a team of trainers.

Strong organizational and time management abilities to coordinate schedules and manage multiple priorities.

Proficient in using fitness tracking software and technology.
